Manager of Game Presentation and PromotionsPosition SummaryThe Manager of Game Presentation and Promotions is responsible for shaping and delivering an exceptional live entertainment experience for every home event. This individual provides leadership for all aspects of game presentation, including creative development, production planning, fan engagement, entertainment programming, sponsor integration, and in-arena execution. Working collaboratively across multiple departments, the Manager ensures that every event reflects the Trenton Ironhawk’s brand while creating memorable experiences that energize fans and enhance commercial partnerships. The role oversees all phases of live production—from concept development and scripting through rehearsals, technical coordination, and real-time execution—while managing production personnel, technology systems, vendors, and entertainment partners. Essential ResponsibilitiesCreative Strategy & Experience DevelopmentDevelop and execute the long-term vision for the organization's game presentation and live entertainment experience.Design innovative fan engagement initiatives that combine storytelling, music, video, interactive technology, and entertainment to create a dynamic atmosphere.Identify emerging trends and technologies digital enhancements that elevate the in-arena experience.Establish performance metrics to evaluate fan engagement, production quality, sponsor effectiveness, and overall event success. Live Event ProductionDirect all aspects of game-day presentation, including script development, show sequencing, timing, rehearsals, and live production execution.Build and maintain comprehensive production scripts using professional show management software while coordinating communication among control room personnel, replay operators, graphics teams, audio technicians, hosts, entertainers, and game operations staff.Lead production meetings, venue walkthroughs, and technical rehearsals to ensure seamless execution of every event.Oversee entertainment elements including pregame ceremonies, intermission performances, promotional features, guest appearances, and special presentations. Creative Content & EntertainmentGuide the production of engaging video features, crowd prompts, entertainment segments, and storytelling content designed to strengthen the emotional connection between fans and the team.Work closely with creative agencies, musicians, performers, and production partners to develop customized entertainment experiences and themed presentations.Collaborate with hosts, emcees, and on-camera personalities by developing scripts, key messaging, and game narratives that align with organizational objectives and sponsor commitments. Corporate Partnership IntegrationCollaborate with the corporate partnerships department to incorporate sponsor activations into the game presentation in ways that are engaging, authentic, and valuable for partners.Oversee fulfillment of all in-game sponsorship elements, ensuring contractual obligations are executed accurately and at the highest production standard.Help develop new inventory and presentation assets that create additional sponsorship and revenue opportunities. Production Technology & Vendor RelationsManage the operation and integration of video boards, LED displays, replay systems, social media integrations, IPTV systems, and other presentation technologies.Coordinate with engineering, venue operations, and technical teams to ensure all production systems are fully tested, operational, and event-ready.Develop and maintain productive relationships with outside vendors, production companies, entertainers, and technology providers. Leadership & Department OperationsRecruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate full-time staff, freelancers, contractors, and event-day personnel involved in game presentation.Oversee production calendars, digital asset management, workflow organization, and archival systems.Assist senior leadership with departmental budgeting, operational planning, vendor negotiations, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.Foster a collaborative environment focused on creativity, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Sports Management, Communications, Broadcasting, Event Production, Marketing, or a related discipline.1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in professional sports, live entertainment, broadcast production, or large-scale event management.Demonstrated success directing complex live productions in fast-paced environments.Strong understanding of live control room operations, show production, scripting, entertainment programming, and in-venue presentation systems.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Proven ability to develop fan engagement initiatives and integrate sponsorships into live event programming.Working knowledge of industry-standard production software and technologies such as ShoFlo, Ross XPression, replay systems, Tagboard, and platforms.Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and project management skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with a professional sports franchise, major collegiate athletics program, or entertainment venue.Knowledge of large-format LED displays, immersive presentation technologies, and stadium production systems.Background in creative content development, experiential marketing, or entertainment programming.Familiarity with project management and creative collaboration platforms such as Asana, Frame.io, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a fast-paced professional sports environment with significant collaboration across departments.Regular in-office attendance is expected, with work schedules varying during the season based on games and special events.Evening, weekend, holiday, and event-day availability is required.Occasional local travel may be necessary.
