Position SummaryThe Portland Winterhawks are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and relationship-driven Coordinator, Corporate Partnership Activation to help deliver best-in-class experiences for our corporate partners. This role is responsible for the execution, fulfillment, and activation of sponsorship agreements while serving as a key point of contact for assigned partners.Working cross-functionally with departments across the organization, this individual will ensure every partnership is executed with excellence, helping drive long-term partner satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sports partnerships and gain hands-on experience across sponsorship activation, marketing, game presentation, and client service.Due to the nature of professional sports, this position requires availability during evenings, weekends, and select holidays, including Winterhawks home games and special events. This position reports to the Vice President of Revenue.Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership Activation & Client ServiceManage the day-to-day activation and fulfillment of assigned corporate partnership agreements.Execute sponsorship assets including arena signage, hospitality, digital marketing, social media, in-game promotions, community initiatives, and experiential activations.Develop strong relationships with corporate partners through consistent communication and exceptional customer service.Gain a thorough understanding of each partner's business objectives and ensure partnership assets align with their goals.Coordinate partner approvals for creative assets, branding, and logo usage.Facilitate activation planning meetings with partners and internal departments.Entertain partners during games and serve as a professional representative of the Winterhawks.Project Management & FulfillmentMaintain accurate sponsorship agreements, fulfillment documents, activation calendars, and partner records.Create and distribute annual asset production timelines, creative deadlines, and technical specifications.Ensure all contractual obligations are executed accurately and on schedule.Monitor game presentation and promotional elements to confirm partner assets are delivered as contracted.Assist with setup and teardown of sponsorship activations as needed.Strategy, Reporting & Creative SupportAssist in developing sponsorship proposals, presentations, and renewal materials.Design customized presentations, graphics, and recap materials using partner performance data.Collect, analyze, and report proof-of-performance metrics throughout the season.Research sponsorship trends, market data, and industry insights to support new business initiatives.Attend partner meetings and assist the Corporate Partnerships team with renewal and new business presentations.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Marketing, Ticket Sales, Game Operations, Community Relations, Broadcasting, Social Media, Communications, Finance, and Hockey Operations to execute partnership programs.Support planning and execution of organizational events.Perform additional duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Skills and CompetenciesExceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Customer-first mindset with a passion for building long-term relationships.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly.Professionalism when interacting with partners, fans, and community stakeholders.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.0–3 years of experience in sports, entertainment, sponsorship, marketing, event management, or client services.Internship experience with professional or collegiate sports organizations is valued.Technical SkillsPreferred experience with:Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or CanvaData visualization and presentation developmentPhysical RequirementsThis position regularly requires standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving activation materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be comfortable working in a live event environment with moderate to loud noise levels during games and events.CompensationCompetitive salary commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for Winterhawks employee benefits and team perks.HoursThis position will be part time and work an estimated 28-34 hours per week.
