Serving the Carolinas, TSE is committed to making the greater Charlotte metro area the premier destination for sports and entertainment in the region. Bank of America Stadium hosts nearly 40 annual events that attract diverse audiences interested in the NFL, MLS, concerts and college football games. In addition to being a top sports and entertainment venue, Bank of America Stadium is a community asset. The stadium served as an early voting site in 2020, 2022, and 2024 and as a mass vaccination site in 2021. Position SummaryThe Corporate Communications Intern supports the corporate communications team in promoting the business operations of football, soccer, and stadium events, helping relay key information to fans, media, corporate and community partners, and employees. Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport creation of a broad array of digital and/or print promotional and communication materials, including presentations, press releasesAssist in the development and distribution of internal and external communications related to business operations (football, soccer, and stadium).Support the creation of press releases, media advisories, fact sheets, and talking pointsMonitor media coverage and track news relevant to the organization’s business activities and public perceptionHelp manage communications event trackerSupport TSE LinkedIn profile contentSupport coordination of logistics for meetings, media events and other internal logistical needs Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, sports management or actively pursuing post-secondary education or equivalent experience and have interest and/or prior sports or entertainment industry experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsExtremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing software; presentation design a plusMust be flexible and available to work evenings and/or weekends, nights, and holidaysMust always maintain professional attitude and be receptive to project changes Skills for SuccessAbility to establish effective working relationships with a variety of contactsPunctuality, accountability, and keen attention to detail in each dutyAbility to work independently and in a group, and handle several tasks simultaneouslyAbility to react quickly and positively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with care and with sensitivityMust possess excellent organizational skills Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the dayAbility to focus on projects for periods of timeRole routinely uses standard office equipment Lift at least 20 pounds Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment as well as outside in stadium facility environments.
