SUMMARYThe Associate Data Analyst’s primary duty is to leverage the Zoomph platform to assist in the delivery of ad-hoc and standing management and customer requests. They are to create programs, methodologies and files for analyzing and presenting data. The Associate Data Analyst develops awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting organizations, departments and/or customers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESLeverage Zoomph to quantify social media and broadcast KPIs across different channels, teams, media outlets, and propertiesIdentify and interpret social media data trends ranging from the post level to campaigns and seriesAnalyze results and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholdersRecommend, prioritize, and develop client and sponsor industry benchmarksCollaborate with customer success colleagues to recommend social media content strategies that will assist platform clients in maximizing content to drive partnership value and attract new sponsorsExamines data quality, applications and functionsProduces output and sustains operationContributes to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentationUses and supports database applications and analytical toolsUses timely and appropriate participation of users/customers in data collection and query systemsQUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION Required a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or a related fieldEXPERIENCE1-3 years of experience as a data analyst, experience in the areas of marketing, communication, digital strategies and data analyticsExperience in the sports industry preferredWell versed in both technical knowledge and strategic thinkingStrong business, data and statistical acumenCOMPENTENCIES AND REQUIRED SKILLSDevelops appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing and presenting data productsFacilitates satisfactory communication and resolution of problemsPoints out system or process problems when noticed and engages the team in problem solvingAbility to interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to the organizationDesign databases and data systemsSelf-starterPHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to talk, hear, see and type.TRAVELMust be willing to travel to conferences and/or events as needed.
