Job Title: Coordinator, Digital MarketingDepartment: Marketing & Product DevelopmentReports to: Manager, Digital ExperienceFLSA Status: Full-time, Non-exemptLocation: Baltimore, MD (Oriole Park at Camden Yards) Salary: $45,000-$47,500/yrJOB DESCRIPTIONBaltimore Orioles seeks a Coordinator, Digital Marketing, reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience, to develop and coordinate the team’s email marketing and SMS platforms, as well as additional digital experience responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Develop, coordinate, and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns for games, events, promotions, and special announcements.Manage email campaign editorial calendar including ideation, development, testing, scheduling, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, dynamic, and targeted content-driven campaigns to various audiencesCoordinate digital marketing promotional calendars and communication schedules. Collaborate with all departments in writing and executing content for email distributionManage the daily SMS calendar from ideation to deploymentMaintain subscriber databases and ensure compliance with email and SMS marketing regulations.Monitor and report on Email and SMS performance including subscriber growth, open rates, click through rates and revenue. Collaborate with the Analytics team to develop email segmentation strategy and testing opportunitiesMeasure the effectiveness of MLB automated email marketing campaigns and collaborate with MLB on new strategies and efficienciesOverseeing end-to-end development of assets for email and SMSIdeate and think creatively to help achieve the team and club goals Ensure all communications are accurate, timely, and optimized for mobile devices.Other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business/Marketing or related field 1-3 years relevant experience Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practicesA proactive thinker with a solutions-oriented mentalityExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong attention to detailAbility to handle multiple priorities, prioritize and problem solve, and manage time effectively within a fast-paced environmentInitiative to thrive in a team atmosphere and individual basisProficiency in Photoshop or similar photo editing software, Adobe Premiere, and Microsoft OfficeWorking proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and understanding of email marketing softwareThis position may entail night and weekend work coverageDISCLAIMER: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee in this position.
