About Our Client We are working with the commercial arm of a world leading sports property, responsible for growing and protecting the commercial value of one of the most closely followed competitive sports in the world. Following a period of significant investment and change, they're scaling their commercial operation, extending their international reach and deepening their relationships with brand partners across a wide range of sectors. The Role Our client is recruiting into two manager-level positions within their commercial partnerships team: one focused on winning new partners, the other on looking after the ones they already have. Both roles report into senior commercial leadership and sit at the heart of how the organisation generates and protects partnership income. Depending on your background and strengths, you'll be considered for one of the following: A new business-focused role, responsible for identifying, approaching and converting new brand partners. A partner management-focused role, responsible for the relationship, delivery and growth of partnerships once they're signed. What You'll Be Doing If your focus is new business Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners across a wide range of sectors, from first contact through to signature Set, and consistently hit, ambitious new-revenue targets Shape compelling, insight-backed proposals alongside colleagues from marketing, data and media Represent the organisation externally and build a strong personal network of brand and agency contacts If your focus is relationship management Act as day-to-day lead for a portfolio of existing brand partners, ensuring contracted rights are delivered in full Identify opportunities to grow and renew partnerships ahead of contract end dates Coordinate across marketing, events, media and data teams to bring partner activations to life Keep partners closely engaged with the organisation's plans, performance and upcoming opportunities What We're Looking For Several years' experience in a sponsorship, partnerships or brand-facing commercial role, ideally within sport or entertainment A track record of either winning new partnership revenue, or successfully managing and growing existing partner relationships Comfortable working with sponsorship contracts and understanding how rights and assets translate into partner value Good awareness of how major rights holders generate commercial revenue and structure partnership programmes Ability to connect an organisation's assets to a brand's objectives Proactive, energetic and comfortable taking ownership of your own workload A natural relationship builder, equally credible with brand clients and internal colleagues Resilient and persistent, particularly when progress takes time Confident using a CRM system and standard office software Package Permanent, full-time role Salary circa £35,000-45,000, depending on experience Based in central London Some travel required, including occasional evening or weekend work around events Not quite the right experience?
