SUMMARYThe Account Executive, Ticket Sales at San Diego FC is primarily responsible for generating new business through Season Ticket Memberships, Premium Spaces and Group Ticket Sales. This role is instrumental in reaching out to prospective clients for the purpose of developing and closing new sales in a high-volume sales environment. Candidates should be passionate and willing to work independently within a team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1 years of sales experience (preferably in the Sports Industry) with a proven track record and desire to succeed within a dynamic and results-oriented environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Generate new revenue through cold calling, prospecting, and conducting in-person appointmentsMeet and exceed new Season Ticket, Premium and Group sales targetsAbility to handle a high volume of sales activity: 60-80 calls per day, booking 15-20 meetings per week Develop relationships through consistent touch points, including: outbound calls, emails and text messages, inbound calls, face to face meetings, and any other special events offeredMeet regularly with Director of Ticket Sales to continue learning and developingAbility to work all home matches and prospecting events throughout the yearMaintain a constant high level of professionalism with all clients and prospectsActively participate in regular sales meetings and ongoing trainingContribute positively to a collaborative, high-energy sales team environmentIdenitfy opportunities for upselling with current and prospective clients ie; Group Ticket Sales.Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries and emails Accurately and diligently maintains track of all customers and prospects through CRMNon-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays as necessary)QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s DegreeSport industry sales experience preferred (1 year) Strong communication and interpersonal skills — diplomatic, tactful, customer-focused with a professional phone manner and ability to interact with a variety of clients Resourceful, conscientious and punctualEntrepreneurial spirit, energetic and outgoing personality with a proactive approach to workDesire to grow a fruitful career in attractions, sports and entertainmentCOMPENSATIONCompetitive compensation and commission plan, commensurate with experience, plus a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.SUMMARYThe Account Executive, Ticket Sales at San Diego FC is primarily responsible for generating new business through Season Ticket Memberships, Premium Spaces and Group Ticket Sales.
