Merchandise Intern Job DescriptionJob Description:The participant will work under the direction of the Retail Manager. This individual will assist in activities for the Crunch organization related to merchandise. Responsibilities:Assist in the oversight of merchandise and in-game retail operations, including monitoring inventory levels, updating inventory reports, organizing merchandise, fulfillment of orders and assisting game day merchandise staffAssist in managing the official online storeResearch and evaluate potential merchandise suppliersResearch retail trends and ideasProvide excellent customer service to the Crunch fan base and general publicAttend all Syracuse Crunch home games and events as necessaryAssist with season ticket holder events and eventsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Enrolled undergraduate or graduate level student pursuing a degree in sport management, marketing, communications, business or related fieldStrong creative, organizational, written and verbal communication skillsGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive and CanvaAbility to work flexible hours including nights and weekendsAbility to problem solve under pressureMust have reliable means of transportationTime:Duration of the 2026-27 Syracuse Crunch season8-12 hours per week (negotiable)All Syracuse Crunch home gamesAdditional team events (annual holiday party, community events, etc.) as neededCompensation: This is a non-paid internship. When negotiated with each individual college, credit will be granted. There is parking reimbursement.
