About The Nighthawks:The Upper Valley Nighthawks are a collegiate summer baseball team based in White River Junction, Vermont, competing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL). Founded in 2016, the Nighthawks are known for competitive baseball, community involvement, and professional development opportunities for players and staff. Each summer, the team provides a hands-on, growth-focused experience in a fun and fast-paced sports environment.*Season runs from May 30 to August 9*Internship Information:Opportunity to Earn College Credit (dependent on school approval)Access to professional-level baseball operations and media productionAbility to broadcast to numerous networks (HUDL, ESPN+, and Unbeaten Sports)Networking opportunities with NECBL coaches, players, and league officialsResponsibilities: Oversee the technical production of all home game broadcasts on ESPN+, Amazon Prime, and other platformsManage the setup, operation, and teardown of all equipmentProduce graphics for all home multi-camera broadcasts, ensuring smooth visuals and high production qualityCoordinate with the play-by-play team and league media officials to maintain broadcast standardsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time during live streamsTrain and supervise interns assisting with camera operation, graphics, and scoreboard integrationMaintain and update graphics packages, overlays, and sponsor elements throughout the seasonCollaborate with the content and social media team to produce highlight reels and promotional clipsAssist in postgame media uploads and video archiving for team and league useRequirements: Currently enrolled in Communications, Broadcasting, Film Production, or related majorStrong understanding of live streaming platforms & broadcast software (OBS, NewBlue, etc.), and production workflowsExperience with camera operation, audio mixing, and graphic integration preferredProven leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a small production teamCreative problem-solving skills and composure under pressureStrong attention to detail and time management abilitiesBaseball knowledge and prior experience in sports production preferredBenefits:Housing provided for $600Gym membership includedFree meals after every home game and select road games, and additional free meals from local restaurantsWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.About The Nighthawks:The Upper Valley Nighthawks are a collegiate summer baseball team based in White River Junction, Vermont, competing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL).
