Key Focus: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to increase ticket sales, including season tickets, group sales, single-game tickets, and premium seating. Align ticketing strategies with the club’s overall business goals.Revenue Generation: Drive ticket sales and revenue growth through innovative pricing strategies, promotions, and sales campaigns. Explore dynamic pricing models and other revenue optimization techniques.Team Management: Build, lead, mentor, and develop the ticketing sales team. Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to ensure high performance and professional growth.Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand the local demographic, purchasing behaviors, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform ticketing strategies and marketing efforts.Customer Experience: Enhance the fan experience by ensuring seamless ticket purchasing processes, excellent customer service, and engagement initiatives. Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve customer satisfaction.Partnerships and Collaborations: Work closely with operations, marketing, community relations, and corporate partnerships teams to create integrated campaigns that drive ticket sales. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.Technology and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest ticketing technologies and industry trends. Implement new tools and platforms to streamline operations and enhance the ticket purchasing experience.Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track sales performance, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions. Present insights and recommendations to the executive team. ResponsibilitiesOversee the development and implementation of an annual ticket sales campaign, including but not limited to; season ticket new sales and retention, multi-game plans, single-game tickets, and group tickets designed to meet annual goals Manage assigned group of employees by assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training while planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Ensure staffing requirements are met and proper work assignments are maintainedManage the day-to-day operations of assigned departmentsSet team and individual sales goals, monitor daily, weekly and monthly resultsResearch, develop and manage a list of potential new partners Build and foster relationships with past, current and potential new clientsNetwork and build relationships in and around the surrounding regionMake sales calls to area organizations and follow up as necessaryCreate and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations to meet clients’ objectivesProactively create opportunities for new business with existing customersDevelop annual budgets for all outbound sales revenue areasResponsible for the short and long-term sales objectives and action plans, sales goals and oversees the effectiveness of those plans toward meeting the overall goals.Develop policies and procedures for the ticket and group sales executives Set appointments, show seats, and give facility tours with the intent to close businessRepresent the organization at in-house facility events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organizationMaintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM toolCoordinate with other departments to organize and implement large theme nightsWork diligently to build and strengthen relationships with corporate partners, the media, the fans and the communityEnhance and generate revenue through ticket package and group salesResponsible for servicing and customer retention, directing the implementation of sponsorships and contract fulfillment, and providing excellent customer service and care to all customers and prospectsWork with the front office team to achieve the objectives of the advertising sales, marketing, tickets and community relations departmentsExecute group contracts and deliver tickets to group customersOther duties may be assigned Game Day ResponsibilitiesOversee the Corporate Sales department Manage suites and related areasAssist with client and fan entertainment as neededAssist with promotional execution as neededAssist other departments when necessary Knowledge and Skill RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing or related field preferredAt least three years prior sales and/or ticket office experience preferredAt least three years of sports sales experience preferred At least two years of prior management and leadership experience preferredAt least two years of negotiating contractsAt least two years of managing budgetsPrior experience with ticketing software preferredExcellent customer service skillsAbility to solve problems quicklyAttention to detailAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsGood working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Suite, Internet and database programsValid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational businessAbility and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Qualifications5+ years of sales experience with a minimum of 2 years in management rolesProven track record of growing revenue in the retail, ticket sales, and/or corporate partnerships spaceAn understanding of the hospitality, sports, and entertainment marketplacesA solutions-based professional who takes pride in their work and their ability to impact internal and external constituentsA get-your-hands-dirty doer excited about placing their stamp on a start-up sports and entertainment franchiseAn individual committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace who will be thoughtful in this respect when hiring, training, and providing performance management to employeesBachelor’s degree requiredBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.Access to exclusive team events and matches.Overview of the United Soccer League (USL)The United Soccer League (USL) is shaping the future of soccer in America.
