Position: Producer/EditorDepartment: Content (Digital Video)Status: Full-Time (Exempt) Position SummaryThis position will be part of the small team responsible for the production of the Carolina Panthers Long-Form shows (e.g. Panthers Blueprint), Mic'd Up content, player features as well as other documentaries. The ideal candidate for this role will need experience producing/editing and an ability to serve as the primary producer for segments and features as assigned. Primary ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supporting the execution of documentary and feature stories, player Mic'd Up content and episodic documentary series.Support Executive Producer in coordinating and conducting interviews as part of larger documentary and features projects. Lead individual shoots and segments as assigned.Work with Producer & Editor to form a dynamic team, capable of completing any shoot at a high level.Contribute to post-production process by editing assigned features and segments at direction of Executive ProducerShoot and edit content for a variety of platforms, with primary focus on growth of Panthers YouTube channel.Help conceptualize and contribute to the team with engaging ideas and stories that bring Panther fans closer to the players and the organizationCommunicate project timelines and help manage project expectations from assignment to delivery.Assist team in the logging and organizing of press conferences and other video shoot footageGame day responsibilities will vary from shooting "Mic'd Up" segments to shooting other storyline featuresOther duties as assigned Minimum QualificationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceAt least 3 years of experience as a producer in a digital or broadcast post-production environmentExperience producing and editing long-form and docu-series contentExperience shooting and lighting interviews and other various setsProficient and knowledgeable on industry standards for compression and codecsSavvy and experienced with YouTube – knowledgeable in best practices to increase team’s YouTube channel viewership and growthMust have experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder etc.)Must be able to share a reel, portfolio, and/or collection of prior work relevant to this position demonstrating your prowess as a shooter and editorMust be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with care and sensitivityMust be flexible to work weekends, nights and/or holidays when necessaryMust pass pre-employment screens Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Broadcast/Journalism, Communications, Film, Media Arts, etc. or equivalent professional work experience in a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience as a producer in a digital or broadcast post-production environment Skills & CompetenciesPunctuality, accountability, and keen attention to detail in each dutyAbility to prioritize projects and adjust priorities as neededDiscretion and trustworthiness related to sensitive football-related materialAbility to work independently and in a team environment, and handle several tasks simultaneouslyAbility to react quickly and positively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to lead by example and work well with others at all levelsStrong team player with excellent collaboration skillsProblem-solver who can produce quality content and stay focused under constantly shifting conditions and prioritiesMust exhibit teamwork, reliability, and dependability Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the dayRole routinely uses standard office equipment Lift at least 30 pounds Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment (mostly office environment, outside in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions) and remotely as assigned by management and based on current business needs.
