Position SummaryThe Sr. Manager of Sales will oversee all sales activities for full-time staff and yearly support sales staff to achieve department revenue and goals through the sale of season tickets, group tickets, and single ticket initiatives. The Sr. Manager of Ticket Sales is responsible for the recruitment and development of Account Executives while maintaining a close working relationship with the other leaders of Ticket Sales, Service & Operations. In addition to team leadership, the role requires strong collaboration with other departments, including Marketing and Sales Enablement, to align sales efforts with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a passion for sports, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management. Primary Responsibilities:Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team of Account ExecutivesDevelop and execute sales campaigns to drive ticket and membership revenueMonitor sales performance and provide coaching, feedback, and mentoring.Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and outreach strategiesAnalyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and setting performance goals accordinglyRepresent the club at events and maintain strong client relationshipsDevelop sales techniques and incentives to maximize productivityCommitted to the support of department goals and objectives, such as budgets and sales goalsAssist in determining and implementing enhancement programs for current customers to generate sales and retention as well as locate incremental revenue opportunitiesEnsure proper maintenance of Season Ticket accounts and Group Leaders is performed and current quality standards are met Additional Responsibilities:Committed to the support of Department goals and objectives in all areasRepresenting the organization at various organizational networking and/or events in a professional mannerWork with all other Departments to improve communication and improve the fan experienceCommitted to the support of Department goals and objectives in all areasInvolvement in game day activities, promotions, and non-gameday sales eventsFacilitate special projects as assigned and work with technology partners for sales enablementAdditional related duties as assigned Required Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of ticket sales experienceMinimum 1 year of leadership responsibilitiesMust possess excellent communication skills with a focus on motivating and innovatingStrength in teamwork, professionalism and time managementPositive and mature attitude with strong leadership skillsMust be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends Skills for SuccessExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on motivating and innovatingWorks well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitudeStrong leadership skillsMust be a team player, reliable, and dependableAbility to make sound decisions and exercise independent judgement and discretion with integrity and accountability, while working in a fast-paced, high-demand, and sometimes strenuous environmentMust maintain complete confidentiality of privileged, and/or sensitive informationMust, at all times, display the character and values of the Tepper Sports & Entertainment brandMust be able to multi-task while managing time successfully Work Environment and Physical RequirementsThis position operates in a professional office environment and outside in a stadium facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Local travel to events may be required.
