Manager, Home Clubhouse

The start date for this position is MARCH 1, 2027, and end date of SEPTEMBER 30, 2027. WE WILL BEGIN INTERVIEWS IN LATE NOVEMBER OR EARLY DECEMBER. Position OverviewThe Home Clubhouse Manager will lead a 3 person clubhouse staff for the 2027 Salem RidgeYaks season. The Home Clubhouse Manager must be able to interact professionally with umpires, coaches, and players on both teams.ResponsibilitiesSetup home team facilities in advance of the season & break down home team facilities after the seasonAssist in loading/unloading team buses for team arrivals and departures, as neededLaundering all uniforms, personals, and towels, as neededEnsure clubhouse maintenance and upkeep including trash, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, pressure washing, etc., as neededKeep clubhouse snacks/beverages stockedAssist visiting teams with preparation and set up of pre/post-game mealsSet up of dugout for early field work, batting practice, and game (includes putting out bubble gum, seeds, towels, water, and Gatorade)Provide general support and fulfill baseball related requests from staff and playersProvide exemplary service to umpires, players & staffMaintain cleanliness of tunnels, bullpen & dugouts (which includes deep cleaning during off-weeks)On occasion, may be tasked with running errands outside the ballparkBeing available to aid home teams/staff at any time (day or night) during their time in Salem (April - September)Other tasks, as assigned by the General Manager or dictated by the PDL guidelinesQualificationsAvailability for ALL (66) home games plus playoffs (April - September)Ability to perform all responsibilities listedAbility to work long hours and late nights (expect to stay an additional 3+ hours after the conclusion of each game)A self-starter, with exemplary customer service skillsPossess superior organizational skills and cleanlinessReliable transportationMust be able to lift over 50 lbs. and stand or walk for long periods of time in adverse weather including rain and heatPreferred QualificationsWillingness to pursue a career in the sports industryPrevious experience in a similar environment (Professional Athletics Clubhouse, College Athletics Program, etc.) or hospitalityCompensationThe Home Clubhouse Manager will be paid $3,500 - 4,500/mo (March - September) in season, depending on qualifications.
