Summary Of Job DutiesThe Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of both the ticket sales team and the ticket operations team. This position will be part of the external leadership team, and will lead the charge towards reaching the department’s annual ticket sales revenue goal, inclusive of season ticket renewals and sales, single game ticket sales, and group ticket sales. A key component of the role will be leading and providing sales leadership, oversight, and training to the ticket sales staff. Additionally, the Assistant AD for Ticket Sales and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the back end Paciolan infrastructure and ensuring ticketing accuracy and distribution for individual game tickets. They will supervise the reconciliation of ticket sales and analyze ticket data to provide sales and attendance trends. While the role will oversee the entirety of the ticket operations team, this individual will serve as the primary ticketing contact for football. The position will require travel with sports as needed to administer away game ticketing. Position will report to the Sr Associate AD for Marketing & Business Development. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher educationAt least 4 to 5 years of experience in a collegiate athletics ticketing roleAt least 1 year of supervisory experienceExperience working with Paciolan ticketing software Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher educationExperience working at multiple Power 4 level ticket offices7 years of experience in a collegiate athletics ticketing roleProven background in building positive relationships and partnershipsExperience working with secondary market ticketing providersExperience working within Salesforce CRMExperience working with major third-party events such as concerts Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of the ticket sales funnel and the various ways in which we nurture leads through the sales processKnowledge of and compliance with specific NCAA, SEC, and institution rules that relate to this positionExcellent communication skillsCommitment to providing elite customer service skillsAnalytic proficiency skillsAbility to guide decisions based upon related insights and reportingAbility to communicate goals, directives and expectations to the ticket sales and ticket operations teamsAbility to provide leadership and training to all members of the ticket sales and ticket operations teamAbility to create a culture within the ticket office that reflects quality customer serviceAbility to balance multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlinesAbility to work nights and weekends as neededThe University of Arkansas is an equal opportunity institution.
