The Washington Commanders are hiring a Manager, Accounts Payable & Treasury, responsible for performing and managing varied payable functions. Functions include, but are not limited to, account reconciliation, improve efficiencies through process implementation, and maintaining professional relationship with vendors.Major duties and responsibilities:Accounts Payable (50%)Supervise and aid in the development of accounts payable team· Ensure timely processing of invoices and paymentsDeveloping and implementing process improvements and automation to streamline accounts payable and treasury workflowsConduct high volume vendor and GL account reconciliations related to accounts payableReview and approve weekly AP transactions to ensure accuracy in codingOversee vendor relationships and address any concerns or conflicts pertaining to payments or invoices.Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payableProvide assistance with audits and supply necessary documentation and support as required.Prepare and analyze accounts payable aging reportsPrepare and assist in preparation of simple to complex tax formsMaintain and analyze vendor spend reports to include any minimum spend agreements, timeliness of invoice submissions and approvals, vendor service/product type, etc.Treasury (50%)Oversight of day-to-day cash operations and cash flow reporting· Streamline treasury processes to increase efficiencies and centralize reporting· Maintenance of bank accounts, including setup of new accounts and signature cards· Manage and monitor processes for corporate credit cards· Prepare daily transaction entries and monthly financial closing journal entries· Prepare monthly account roll forwards, balance sheet account reconciliations, and bank statement reconciliations· Management of banking relationshipQualifications:A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is required5+ years of experience in cash management or related field· Proven leadership and supervisory experienceKnowledge and Skills:Proficiency in ERP systems (Dynamics 365 and Concur a plus)Advanced Excel skills requiredAdaptability and ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlinesEffective communicator both verbally and in writingStrong administrative and organization skills with attention to detail and follow-up requiredSalary Range: $100k-$110kWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.The Washington Commanders are hiring a Manager, Accounts Payable & Treasury, responsible for performing and managing varied payable functions.
