Position OverviewThe Dallas PULSE, Major League Volleyball’s 2026 Champions, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Director, Marketing to help drive the continued growth of our franchise as we enter our second season of professional women's volleyball in North Texas.Following a successful inaugural season and winning the championship title, this position will play a critical role in executing marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, drive ticket sales, strengthen community engagement, and enhance the fan experience.This role is focused on activation and execution. The Director, Marketing will work closely with the team's external marketing and branding agency, which leads overall strategy and planning, while serving as the primary internal resource responsible for implementing campaigns, coordinating projects, creating content, and ensuring marketing initiatives are successfullydelivered.The ideal candidate is organized, creative, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced sports environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Activation & Campaign ExecutionServe as the liaison between The Dallas PULSE and the team's marketing agency.Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns designed to drive ticket sales, increase brand awareness, and support revenue goals.Coordinate execution of advertising, promotional, and community marketing initiatives.Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure campaigns are executed effectively.Track campaign performance and provide reporting and recommendations for optimization.Fan Engagement & Community MarketingSupport initiatives that grow and strengthen the Dallas PULSE fan base throughout North Texas.Support all grassroots marketing efforts, community appearances, youth volleyball outreach programs, and special events.Help create meaningful connections between players, coaches, fans, and the local community.Assist with theme nights, promotional events, and fan engagement programs throughout the season.Social Media & Content DevelopmentManage the Social Media Manager regarding content planning, creation, and execution across all platforms.Create and publish content including graphics, videos, photography, written posts, and player-focused storytelling.Assist in capturing content at practices, matches, community events, and team activities.Help manage content calendars and coordinate campaign messaging across digital channels.Monitor social media engagement and assist with community management effortsDigital MarketingSupport email marketing campaigns, website updates, and digital advertising initiatives.Assist with database growth, audience segmentation, and fan communication strategies.Coordinate marketing assets across digital, social, email, and in-arena platforms.Monitor digital analytics and assist with reporting on campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.Partnership Marketing & ActivationWork with the Corporate Partnerships team to execute sponsor activation programs and promotional campaigns.Coordinate partner marketing deliverables and fulfillment of contractual assets.Assist with sponsor-related content creation and event activation.Help create engaging experiences that deliver value for both partners and fans.Game Day Marketing & PromotionsSupport execution of game presentation elements, promotions, contests, and fan engagement activities.Coordinate marketing-related game day assets including signage, announcements, digital content, and promotional materials.Assist in creating memorable game-day experiences that encourage repeat attendance and fan loyalty.Work closely with Operations and Partnerships staff to ensure a seamless fan experience.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Business, or a related field.5-7 years of marketing, communications, digital media, or sports marketing experience.Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, digital marketing best practices and brand standards adherence.
