50/50 Raffle Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY: The 50/50 raffle sales associates are in charge of selling tickets to guests at each Dallas Stars home game at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Half of the jackpot proceeds raised from raffle ticket sales will go to the guest with the winning ticket; and the other half will benefit the Dallas Stars Foundation and local nonprofits. The mission of the Dallas Stars Foundation is to nurture and enrich the lives of those in need in our communities. This seasonal position will follow the Dallas Stars hockey schedule from September through April (with potential dates through June).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Communicate the 50/50 raffle rules and procedures to guestsFacilitate and process raffle ticket sales via electronic devices at stationary and/or mobile locations throughout the arenaProactively approach and engage customers to meet or exceed sales goals JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent customer service skillsEnergetic personality with prior sales experience preferredStrong verbal communication skillsMust be able to proactively approach and engage customers to meet or exceed sales goalsAbility to work in a fast-paced sports environmentMust be able to stand and/or walk up to 4-5 hoursEfficiently handle electronic devicesPassion for sports and/or charity work Physical Demands and Working EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
