General Manager

VFG Sports Performance is seeking a General Manager to lead operations at one of our D-BAT academies in the DFW area. This is an opportunity for a motivated, relationship-driven leader to oversee every facet of the business — facility management, strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and scheduling — while playing a key role in strengthening our presence in the local sports community.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:The General Manager will be expected to:Ensure the facility is properly opened and closed each daySchedule and manage front desk personnel and instructorsManage and review AR/AP and daily financial tasksManage and grow membership salesProcess bimonthly payrollCoordinate and lead team meetings/trainingsAddress all customer issues and complaints in a friendly, timely, and professional mannerLead networking and business development with local baseball/softball organizationsManage the pro shop — ordering, inventory, vendor relationships, and upkeepCoordinate and execute camps, clinics, programs, and lessonsManage relationships with service providers (cleaning, outside maintenance, etc.) and oversee maintenance of pitching machines and other facility equipmentOversee facility technology, including HitTrax, Rapsodo, BLAST, Trackman, and Full SwingRequirements/Qualifications:Growth-oriented mindset with a strong desire to stay ahead of emerging tools, technology, and trends in baseball/softball trainingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), with the ability to manage financial reports, schedules, and business documentsAvailable to work shifts, including evenings and weekendsPreferred Requirements/Qualifications:High School DiplomaHigh School/Collegiate/Professional playing experience preferredVFG Sports Performance is seeking a General Manager to lead operations at one of our D-BAT academies in the DFW area.
