SLU, which also has a campus in Madrid, Spain, is recognized for world-class academics, life-changing research, compassionate health care, and a strong commitment to faith and service.JOB SUMMARYThe Assistant Ticketing & Broadcast Media Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with season ticket holders, mini-plan and individual game buyers and all SLU Athletics constituents. This position is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the ESPN+ streaming platform. This position works primarily with fall ticketed sporting events (Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, and Volleyball) and winter ticketed sports (Men’s & Women’s Basketball).PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvides superior customer service to ensure a positive experience for all our patronsFields in-bound calls and emails for ticket sales and customer service inquiriesAssists in the promotion, sales and distribution of season tickets, groups, partial plans and single game ticketsLeads the interviewing, hiring and training of student workers on an as needed basis (including identifying, scheduling and training SLU student workers for ESPN+ productions including talent, producer/director, replay operator, graphic operator, camera operator and engineer)Manages the complimentary staff and donation ticket requests including fulfillment and documentationPerforms various financial and operational duties, to include payment processing, financial reconciliation, ticket inventory management, invoicing and mailing fulfillmentFollows and understands the streaming minimum requirements set forth by the Atlantic 10 Conference related to the A-10/ESPN media rights agreementWorks with the Atlantic 10 Conference to schedule ESPN+ events in collaboration with ESPNWorks in collaboration with various groups to create and distribute postgame melts of eventsWorks additional athletic events as needed; stays up-to-date with emerging trends in streaming technologyPerforms other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESStrong knowledge of video production and social mediaProven ability to work independently, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely mannerExcellent communication skills required for working with diverse groupsStrong written communication skills; excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detailDemonstrated appreciation for diversity and inclusionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degreeTwo years of related experienceAbility to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends; willingness to travel, as neededSaint Louis University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
