JOB SUMMARY: The Analyst, Business Strategy & Analytics supports key departments across the Dallas Stars organization including Ticketing, Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, DSE Events, Concessions, and Retail, by delivering data‑driven analysis and actionable business insights. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, narrative‑driven presentations that inform leadership decision‑making. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Partner with Ticketing, sponsorship, and other revenue‑generating departments to evaluate performance, identify trends, and recommend actions that enhance revenue and fan engagementContribute to strategic initiatives such as forecasting, promotional analysis, market research, and business case developmentSupport development and maintenance of real‑time dashboards and reporting for Ticketing, Marketing, Partnerships, American Airlines Center, and other Dallas Stars business unitsBe able to communicate to both technical and non-technical internal customersSupport the development, testing, and refinement of dynamic pricing models across single-game, group, and premium inventory including scenario modeling, price elasticity analysis, and post-game pricing reviewsContribute to sponsorship valuation work including comp-based benchmarking, category exclusivity analysis, asset-level ROI reporting, and post-campaign recaps for partnersAnalyze large, multi-source datasets to uncover insights that drive operational and commercial decisionsBuild and maintain pricing and demand models to inform in-season pricing decisionsBuild and maintain revenue‑focused models to support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and strategic prioritizationEnsure data accuracy and consistency across dashboards, KPI reporting, and department deliverablesJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience1-3 years of experience in consulting, finance, consumer strategy, analytics, or a related field Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI, or LookerFamiliarity with CRM systems, ticketing platforms, and large-scale consumer datasets preferredMust possess an understanding of pricing structures and consumer revenue levers, especially within dynamic pricing environments Experience supporting revenue‑focused teams such as ticketing, partnerships, membership strategy, or pricingStrong communication skills with the ability to tailor insights and messaging to different audiencesExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracyWhile this position is not required to attend games, it may occasionally require working long/odd hours including weekends and holidays Physical Demands and Working EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
