NHRA fans continue to be some of the most loyal in any sport.Position Summary: This position is primarily responsible for the transportation of company trucks to national events and for providing on-site support of race operations upon arrival at each venue. Principal duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the emergency response team with fire and rescue operations; performing track preparation and clean-up as required; and supporting track preparation efforts for the organization's premier national event series. LOCATION: RemoteFLSA/SALARY: ExemptREPORTS TO: Director of Safety & Emergency ServicesMinimum Skills/ExperienceHigh School Diploma is preferred. Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.Experience driving a commercial vehicle is highly desirable. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the company’s policy.If needed, must be able to be enrolled in a CDL class, at the company’s expense, and pass the CDL test to obtain a license within the first 3 months of hire into this position.Must be able to maintain the CDL license on an ongoing basis.Must have or be able to apply for an active SFI Incident Response Certification and air brake endorsement.Must have prior work experience with NHRA, preferably in the racing operations area.Must be available to work non-business hours, including weekends as needed. Working knowledge of Microsoft for email and expense reports is preferred.Must have the ability to follow established procedures associated with the specific job function. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Strong organization and time-management skills.Ability to collaborate with sponsors and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
