Under general supervision of the General Manager, direct and coordinate personnel, subcontractors and daily activities involved in the successful execution of events and security and safety of the facility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.Establish & implement operating procedures that conform to corporate standards, customized to the specific needs of the facility and consistent with the goals and objectives of the client, facility, owner and Legends Global.Ensure successful event coordination activities by supervising and training Event Managers and/or Coordinator(s). Plan, organize and assign all day-to-day work assignments for Event Services Department personnel including Event Manager, Event Coordinator(s), and Security personnel.Direct, hire, supervise and schedule all aspects of operations including event coordination and services, event staffing, security, crowd and risk management, police, fire and safety personnel, and ADA compliance.Responsible for all summaries of events produced by the Event Services Department.Establish & implement operating procedures that conform to corporate standards, customized to the specific needs of the facility and consistent with the goals and objectives of the client, facility and corporation.Manage subordinate supervisors who oversee employees in various functions. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.Attend weekly Directors meetings and staff meetings. Develop and maintain a harmonious working relationship with all of the other departments. Schedule recurring weekly one-one-one meetings with General Manager to discuss department issues.Responsible for closing out event files in preparation for event settlement.Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget and recommend an annual capital budget for long-range repairs and improvements to the facility. Develop program to train all employees on fire/life safety and emergency procedures.Investigate, analyze and resolve operational problems and complaints. Preferred None Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Significant experience with the principles, terminology, tools, and equipment utilized in television production/broadcast engineering. Solid working knowledge of automation in the context of television network operations. Working knowledge of satellite uplink transmission and downlink conditional access. Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and concisely in job ticketing system. Ability to troubleshoot, make quick decisions, and execute resolutions quickly in dynamic situations. This hands-on internship provides the opportunity to work alongside our Marketing team, helping execute corporate sponsorships, brand activations, and promotional experiences that enhance our leagues and events.As a Sponsorship Intern, you'll gain real-world experience supporting corporate sponsors, coordinating sponsorship activations, and ensuring brand deliverables are successfully executed at leagues, tournaments, and special events. You'll play an important role in creating memorable experiences for both sponsors and participants while learning how sponsorships contribute to the overall success of a sports organization.This internship offers valuable exposure to sports sponsorship, brand activations, event marketing, and corporate marketing. By the end of the semester, you'll have practical experience that will help prepare you for a career in sponsorship sales, sports marketing, brand management, or event management.Responsibilities Support the planning and execution of sponsorship activations at leagues, tournaments, and special events. Help fulfill sponsor deliverables and ensure all sponsorship benefits are executed throughout each season. Assist with creating sponsorship proposals, presentations, and activation materials. Coordinate sponsor signage, promotional items, giveaways, and branded event materials. Collaborate with the Marketing and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship activations. Represent the organization during sponsor activations and engage with participants at events. Track sponsorship deliverables and assist with post-event reporting and activation recaps.
