OverviewThe temporary Concessions Manager is responsible for the effective management of venue concessions operations, including inventory controls, product ordering, training new employees, cash controls, compliance with alcohol service policies, cleaning, safety, guest service, employee/volunteer training and supervision, warehouse oversight, troubleshooting, closing duties, event planning support, food preparation and production, and any other tasks assigned by the DFB. The Concessions Manager must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth operation of the Arena & Concessions Dept. The Concessions Manager will actively supervise, coach, counsel, direct, train, and mentor employees in meeting company quality standards and may initiate or recommend employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion, and transfer. The CM will provide oversight and resolution responsibility for employee performance issues. Actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule, including evenings and weekends. Flexible availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction, and strong technical (computer and POS) aptitude are required. This role pays an hourly rate of $35.00 - $39.00 CAD This is a temporary role that will start July 6, 2026, and will end on September 30, 2026 This position will remain open until September 30, 2026.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing, developing, and mentoring a staff of part-time and full-time concessions employees, including initiating employee discipline as required. OverviewThe Arena Operations Staff includes Changeover and Custodial shifts. When working changeover shifts, employees will be responsible for setting up and taking down various aspects of any event within the arena or exterior of the arena. Custodial shifts will include pre-event, event, and post-event cleaning of the entire facility, not to exclude restrooms, VIP areas, and flooring. The operations department has flexible schedules, as employees are able to pick the shifts and events worked. This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until October 2, 2026.ResponsibilitiesPerform general labor as assigned.Event and building setups and teardowns for clients and sports team tenants. This includes stage builds for concerts and the basketball court multiple times per week, month, and year.Operate various cleaning machines.Cleaning all areas of the facility, both inside and outside, pre-event, during the event, and post-event.Use cleaning chemicals safely.Perform all other duties as assigned relevant to this position.QualificationsPrevious experience with venue changeovers and/or custodial duties preferred.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Must be able to lift heavy objects.Ability to perform general labor.Must be able to walk stairs, bend, and lean with or without accommodations.High school diploma or GED preferred.
