Our values guide every decision we make. Development – We transform potential into champions. Collaboration – We win together. Accountability & High Standards – We own it and raise the bar. Community – We represent and strengthen the Core. Bold Ambition – We think boldly and act bravely. The Opportunity Carolina Core FC has entered a new stage of growth. The startup phase required entrepreneurial energy, adaptability, and a willingness to build from the ground up. The next chapter requires an executive who can transform vision into execution, connect strategy with daily operations, and build an organization capable of delivering sustained results. The President, Commercial Operations serves as the senior business leader responsible for the organizational performance of Carolina Core FC. Success in this role is measured not simply by revenue growth, but by organizational performance, leadership development, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability. This is not a symbolic leadership position. This is an operating executive who believes leadership is measured by results, the development of people, and the ability to build an organization that performs at a championship level. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means building an organization where every person understands how their work contributes to the mission, every department is aligned around common priorities, and performance improves because leaders are developed, systems are strong, and accountability is consistent. A successful President, Commercial Operations will: Partner with Carolina Core Ventures to establish the organization's annual priorities, strategic initiatives, and enterprise goals. Build an organization where leaders think beyond their own departments and make decisions in the best interest of the enterprise. Create a culture where accountability, coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement are part of everyday leadership. Develop Vice Presidents and department leaders into stronger, more capable business leaders. Use data, reporting, and performance metrics to identify trends, evaluate results, and adjust strategies quickly. Create systems and operating rhythms that improve organizational alignment, communication, and execution. Balance urgency with thoughtful decision-making in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Strengthen collaboration between business operations, sporting leadership, and Carolina Core Ventures. Serve as a trusted steward of the organization's resources while positioning Carolina Core FC for long-term financial sustainability and growth. Leadership Philosophy The President, Commercial Operations is expected to embody the following leadership principles. Enterprise Thinker Sees the organization as an interconnected system rather than a collection of departments. Makes decisions that advance the long-term success of the entire enterprise while balancing immediate priorities with future opportunities. Strategic Operator Translates long-term vision into daily execution. Continuously evaluates whether the organization's time, energy, and resources are being invested in the work that matters most. Performance Coach Believes exceptional organizations are built by developing exceptional leaders. Sets clear expectations. Provides direct, timely feedback. Coaches rather than controls. Raises standards while providing the support necessary for others to succeed. Builds leaders who multiply the performance of their teams. Builder Thrives in environments that are growing and evolving. Challenges the status quo. Creates clarity. Builds systems. Improves processes. Finds energy in creating better ways to operate. Courageous Decision Maker Moves with intention rather than hesitation. Makes informed decisions without waiting for perfect information. Takes thoughtful risks. Measures outcomes. Learns quickly. Adjusts when necessary. Adaptable Leader Recognizes that growth requires change. Embraces new ideas, shifting priorities, and continuous improvement without losing focus on long-term objectives. Trusted Partner Leads effectively in every direction. Builds credibility with employees, peers, Carolina Core Ventures, ownership, partners, and community stakeholders.
