A quick summary about the role: The Broadcast Production Graduate Associate will primarily be responsible for editing and shooting content for the Solar Bears marketing department as well as assisting the Magic's Coordinating Producer and Broadcast Production department. This will include shooting select hockey games and Magic community events as well as editing promos and/or features for in-arena broadcast, television broadcasts and digital signage. What the Broadcast Production Graduate Associate will be responsible for: Assist Solar Bears and Magic Broadcast Department with various Broadcast and In-Arena video features and Marketing promos as assigned Responsibilities will include: Manage highlight and footage library. Assist Producers with various Broadcast and In-Arena video features and Marketing promos as assigned. Assist staff Videographer with all studio and field production assignments. Responsibilities will include: Equipment set-up and strike for studio and field production. Under guidance of staff Videographer, operate studio and field cameras, when needed. Studio and field audio technician assistance. Operate teleprompter when required. General upkeep and organization of field production equipment. Digitize and media manage b-roll and interview footage as assigned. Complete editing video requests and deliver/distribute upon completion for internal and external departments as assigned. Shoot select Orlando Solar Bears Games. All other duties as assigned. What the Broadcast Production Graduate Associate needs to have: Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation) or graduate-level college students required. Working knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere Pro Knowledge of basketball/NBA preferred. Good driving record (driving record background check required). Audio and/or Video production, journalism, communications or related major or production background preferred. The Operations Supervisor oversees and coordinates event setup activities and operations for the facility and provides responsible staff assistance to the Operations leaders. This position will remain open until October 9, 2026.ResponsibilitiesAssume responsibility for all staffing and staff activities involved in the operations department at Enmarket Arena, Johnny Mercer Theatre, Port Wentworth Ice Cove, Vystar Pavilion, and any future properties.Provide and oversee staffing for ice sheet installation/removal, including paint, logos/decals, flooding, and leveling.Perform and oversee day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and special projects.Coordinate third-party operations staff.Assist event department with rider specifications, ensuring all setups are completed and set to specifications in data sheets.Oversee and monitor changeover crews and provide team support as required.Maintains and oversees departmental equipment; notifies Operations Manager as additional services are required.
