Key ResponsibilitiesMatch Information & NotesMaintain and update match notes for DCFC home and away fixtures, ensuring materials are completed and uploaded to league platforms at least 48 hours before kickoff. Track and update all-time and seasonal statistics, legacy numbers, and other historical data for men’s and women’s teams after each match. Maintain and organize DCFC’s online match information archive, including match notes, recaps, statistical records, lineups, and other historical reference materials for all club matches. Media Relations & CredentialsAssist in managing media credential requests, media guidelines, and distribution of credentials to will-call and working media on matchdays. Assist in flipping website assets and updating matchday pages following each fixture as part of the post-game process. Press Box & Matchday OperationsServe as the primary coordinator for press box operations on matchdays, including opening the space prior to media arrival, operating the space throughout the event, and securing it after the match concludes. Position Summary: As our Merchandise and Retail Operations Intern, you will work closely with the Director, Merchandise and Retail Operations supporting online fulfillment, product displays, inventory tracking, and the opening of a new Mariners retail store. Key duties include organizing stock and updating digital or in-store product presentations. What You Will Do: Retail Operations Assist Director with daily tasks, sample tracking, and vendor coordination. Help with game-day retail operations, including inventory replenishment, merchandising, and customer service. Ensure store presentation consistently reflects organizational brand standards. Develop and maintain retail operating procedures and best practices. Help manage POS systems and retail technology platforms. E-Commerce & Digital Retail Coordinate fulfillment operations, shipping, and customer service. Collaborate with marketing on digital campaigns, email marketing, and product launches. Skills You Will Need: Good communication, strong attention to detail, and basic computer skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hockey calendar. Ability to stand for long periods and lift light boxes when needed. Qualifications: Study in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Sports Management, or related field. Experience in retail, merchandising, e-commerce, or consumer products experience. Centreville Bank Stadium is seeking a highly motivated Operations Intern for the 2026 Fall semester. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for live events and the soccer industry. The Operations Intern will work with the Stadium Operations Department to assist in providing stellar event-day experiences for all fans, colleagues, vendors, and business partners.This position is for a seasonal internship, with a projected start date that can be flexible to align with academic calendars. EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCEMust be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and eligible to receive college credit. This internship is for college credit only and is limited to no more than 28 hours per week. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist the Operations Department in writing stadium policies, standard operating procedures, operational plans and event schedules. Liaise with the Director of Operations to oversee efficient changeovers before and after all events. Assist with the set up and breakdown of events, providing event support and coordination for all RIFC matches and events. Provide support to the implementation of facility rules and policies. Assist with the management and distribution of event-day credentials.Provide excellent service throughout the duration of all events when interacting with guests, fans, colleagues, and vendors.Assist marketing and ticketing departments in the execution of event day sponsor activations. Identify areas of opportunity for increased efficiency and the improvement of all stadium operations. Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Ability to communicate, clearly and professionally, in both written and verbal forms. Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.Extraordinary attention and commitment to details.Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, subordinates, vendor partners, colleagues, and the public.
