Review for accuracy all accounts payable information pertaining to the Smashville Ice Rinks. Review invoices and expense reports for proper documentation, coding accuracy and proper approvals. Review invoice and expense report entries entered into Intacct (accounting software), Papersave (approval software) and spreadsheets; Review and manage cash outflows in banking portal to records in accounting software Review and approve entries in company/subsidiary(ies) Purchase Order system. Prepare for review Sales and Use Tax return for Mid Ice LLC. Work with Controller to complete additional sales and use tax returns. Review customer invoices for accuracy that are prepared by other members of the business operations staff. Send invoices to contract customers across various properties. Serve as elevated point of contact for customer invoicing questions. Review and reconcile bank deposits. Own reconciliation of all related cash accounts. Record interdepartmental transactions and perform reconciliation of intercompany accounts. Reconcile balance sheet accounts for related entities on a monthly/quarterly basis. These duties include but are not limited to: interviewing and onboarding candidates, scheduling, approving payroll, implementing training programs, resolving conflict, and promoting a safe work environment. Develop and train ice personnel including ice re-surfacing operators and staff. Demonstrate knowledge in the practice and procedures related to ice installation, preparation and maintenance; typical methods and techniques for maintaining, repairing and building ice. Train the operations department employees on operating procedures, preventative maintenance schedules, emergency plans and safety management policies. Help to install and maintain an NHL quality ice surface and maintain the ice maintenance equipment. Oversee facility event set-ups to ensure timeliness, completion, accuracy, and safety. Keep the operations storage and work areas clean, organized and safe. Maintain the inside and outside of building. Appropriately staff building for day-to-day operations and events. Schedule all part time operations staff using current scheduling software program. Assist in making sure the building is kept clean and sanitized daily. Work with Event Coordinator to set up for birthday parties and other special events. Assist in executing ice programming schedule. Minimum Requirements: 18+ years of age High School graduate or GED. Minimum of 2-4 years related experience in public assembly facility management. Two (2) years of experience in a similar supervisory or management position. Possess basic working knowledge of facilities including HVAC, electrical, lighting, audio visual and mechanical systems. Summary Of Job DutiesThe Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of both the ticket sales team and the ticket operations team. This position will be part of the external leadership team, and will lead the charge towards reaching the department’s annual ticket sales revenue goal, inclusive of season ticket renewals and sales, single game ticket sales, and group ticket sales. A key component of the role will be leading and providing sales leadership, oversight, and training to the ticket sales staff. Additionally, the Assistant AD for Ticket Sales and Operations will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the back end Paciolan infrastructure and ensuring ticketing accuracy and distribution for individual game tickets. They will supervise the reconciliation of ticket sales and analyze ticket data to provide sales and attendance trends. While the role will oversee the entirety of the ticket operations team, this individual will serve as the primary ticketing contact for football. The position will require travel with sports as needed to administer away game ticketing. Position will report to the Sr Associate AD for Marketing & Business Development. As we prepare for our inaugural season, we’re looking for passionate, driven professionals to help shape the future of this franchise and the future of the game.THE ROLE: The Account Executive, Membership Sales, role is responsible for generating new business for the organization through the sale of the Portland Fire ticket membership products, including premium and non-premium seating, as well as suite rentals and group ticket sales. Reporting directly to the Director of Ticket Sales, this role will be expected to drive sales through a proactive, outbound sales approach that includes cold calling, conducting virtual and in-person meetings, and leveraging team events. The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly motivated self-starter, who thrives in a competitive, result-oriented, fast-paced sales environment. They have previous experience in sales and a desire to grow their career and the sport of basketball.
