Follow-up on leads generated by outside sources.Compile bid and sales proposals for the Arena, Theater, and Convention Center.Negotiate, compile, and execute sales contracts and venue agreements (to include tracing of contract, deposits, and insurance).Conduct facility tours for prospective clients.Assist in the preparation and design of Arena brochures, pamphlets, advertisements, and other promotional materials.Establish an expansive network of promoters, agents, managers, and representatives.Serving as the primary liaison with the Convention & Visitors Bureau to attract and support convention, meeting, and tourism business.Developing and overseeing comprehensive advertising, branding, and promotional campaigns through the facility's marketing resources and external partners, ensuring successful execution of the overall marketing strategy.Leading and developing the marketing and sales team.Creating, managing, and adhering to the department's annual operating and marketing budgetsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with arts organizations, community groups, nonprofits, and key stakeholders to support facility programming and community engagement.Rotate with other facility personnel to function as Director on Duty (DOD), who maintains total responsibility and authority over all clients, staff personnel, patrons, security, and safety in assigned buildings. Responsibilities included but not limited to ensuring contractual agreements are met and clients’ event requirements and changes have been made in a timely fashion. On-duty staff/subcontractors report to the DOD through any Managers or Supervisors present during the event.Attend weekly staff meetings. Develop and maintain a harmonious working relationship with all other departments. OverviewThe food & beverage General Manager is responsible for the efficient, professional, and profitable operation of the food & beverage operations to include concessions and premium areas, as well as catering operations. In addition to managing the day-to-day business operations, the General Manager solicits new sources of revenue.
