Seek every opportunity to create memorable guest experiences by addressing and resolving guest concerns quickly, efficiently, and courteously through guest-facing and/or correspondence.* Review and ensure Guest Services compliance with Accounting/Finance standard operating procedures. Audit processes and controls including Cash, Check, Credit, Bank, and ticket handling policies. Address discrepancies/variances timely with follow up to the appropriate managers/departments. Oversee and monitor the ticketing process including inventory, audit, and financial controls.* Effectively use/manage the property management system and work with the Front Desk Manager and Room Control Coordinator to manage room inventory. Attend and actively participate in all meetings assigned. Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program. Assist in the purchasing, receiving, and maintaining of required department par levels of all front office supplies, tools, and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of related experience. Industry Experience - Hospitality/Tourism, Amusement Park, Other Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. In this role, you will support all facets of the day-to-day management of ticket operations at both headquarters and arena for Ticket Operations, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives. Your Role on the Team Serve as the primary supervisor for all part-time Ticket Service Representatives, Team Captains, ticket window staff, and phone operators. Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop all event-day ticket operations staff. Create and manage staffing schedules for event days and non-event days to ensure appropriate coverage. Prepare, review, and approve payroll for all direct reports. Address employee performance and disciplinary matters professionally, confidentially, and consistently. Foster a positive team culture centered on exceptional fan service and operational excellence. Execute all single-game ticket builds and event configurations for Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, NBA All-Star, and other arena events. Manage ticket inventory, promotional ticket offers, pricing implementation, and quality assurance within Ticketmaster systems. Utilize Ticketmaster Host, TM1, and Archtics to support daily ticket operations and event execution. Troubleshoot ticketing issues while providing timely resolutions for internal departments and guests. Collaborate with Sales, Service, Premium, Marketing, Finance, Arena Operations, Security, and Guest Services to ensure seamless event execution. Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of customer accounts and ticketing information. Assist with testing and implementation of new ticketing initiatives, system enhancements, and operational processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Skills and Experience Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees. Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fan experiences. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the HJGT. Currently the HJGT is the largest junior golf tour in the world hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. In 2017, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world. Position SummaryUnder the direct supervision and mentorship of HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff Members, Interns will learn how to operate golf tournaments through their active involvement with all aspects of tournament operations, from course setup to course breakdown. The internship will provide direct hands on training and require extensive travel every weekend across the country, including: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Texas, Minnesota, Iowa, California, Arizona, New Jersey, and North Carolina. When interns are not traveling, they will be provided Business Operations training through hands on learning and development provided by the Senior Leadership team.
