KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe main responsibilities and oversights of the Venue Operations Assistant Manager for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ include: Support the Venue Operations Manager in the planning and operational delivery of the venue activities. Coordinate day-to-day operational planning across FIFA functional areas and local stakeholders. Monitor the implementation of venue operational plans and follow up on action items and deadlines. Assist in integrating functional area requirements into the overall venue operational plan. Coordinate meetings, workshops and venue operational briefings with internal and external stakeholders. Support venue inspections, site visits, and stadium readiness activities. Track venue issues, risks and mitigation actions, escalating matters to the Venue Operations Manager when appropriate. Maintain operational documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and planning tools. Support to coordinate Operational Maps review (BIM360) follow-up activities resulting from inspections and site visits. Support the planning and delivery of official test events and operational exercises. Assist in coordinating venue service providers and local authorities during planning and event-time operations. Support budget tracking, procurement follow-up and operational reporting as requested by the Venue Operations Manager. Contribute to knowledge management activities, operational debriefs and lessons learned documentation. Support match day and non-match day operations, ensuring timely communication and coordination across all stakeholders. Coordinate the preparation, maintenance and distribution of daily operational documentation, including the Daily Run Sheet, operational schedules, daily reports and other venue operational documents. Coordinate venue daily operational meetings, ensuring agendas, documentation, action tracking and follow-up with all relevant stakeholders. Coordinate the planning and delivery of venue team onboarding, inductions and operational training sessions to ensure all personnel are prepared for venue operations. Liaise with the Stadium Authority core team to ensure the timely delivery of all core stadium services and operational requirements, maintaining close coordination throughout the planning and operational phases. Act as a key operational focal point during match days, proactively resolving operational issues on the ground while liaising with and responding to the Venue Operations Centre (VOC), ensuring timely communication, issue escalation and coordinated implementation of solutions. Perform other operational duties as assigned by the Venue Operations Manager. YOUR PROFILEEducationUniversity degree in an appropriate field (or equivalent professional experience).Experience Strong experience in venue operations, event management, sports venues or large-scale international events. Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in complex operational environments. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Experience supporting operational planning and event delivery. Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities. Experience with reporting, planning tools and operational documentation. Experience working with public authorities, venue operators or service providers is considered an advantage.
