Position OverviewThe Savannah Ghost Pirates are seeking highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated individuals to join our 2026–27 Front Office Operations Internship Program. This hands-on internship provides valuable experience working behind the scenes of a professional sports organization in the ECHL.Interns will work closely with members of the Ghost Pirates Front Office to assist with game operations, live event execution, fan services, corporate partnership activation, community engagement, and special events throughout the season. This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in sports management, event management, marketing, business administration, entertainment, communications, or related fields who are looking to develop practical experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.From creating unforgettable game day experiences to executing sponsor activations and representing the organization throughout the Savannah community, interns will play an important role in delivering the Ghost Pirates brand both inside and outside of Enmarket Arena.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Game Day OperationsAttend all Savannah Ghost Pirates home games throughout the 2026–27 season. Assist with planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of all game day operations. Execute theme nights, promotions, giveaways, intermission contests, and fan engagement initiatives. Coordinate on-ice presentations including anthem singers, color guards, ceremonial puck drops, intermission entertainment, and sponsored activations. Recruit and manage contestants while ensuring timely check-ins throughout the game. Support the Game Presentation and Production staff, including assisting with the DJ booth and other presentation needs. Operate and manage fan engagement elements including Chuck-A-Puck, the 50/50 Raffle, and concourse activations. Corporate Partnership ActivationAssist the Corporate Partnerships department in fulfilling sponsorship agreements and executing contracted partner assets. Help coordinate sponsor activations, hospitality experiences, premium seating events, and VIP experiences on game days. Ensure sponsor signage, promotions, digital assets, and in-game elements are executed accurately and on schedule. Assist with activation setup, proof-of-performance documentation, and post-event recaps. Collaborate with multiple departments to deliver exceptional experiences for corporate partners. Fan Services & Guest ExperienceServe as a front-line representative of the Ghost Pirates by providing exceptional customer service to fans, partners, and guests. Assist fans by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive game day experience. Support premium hospitality areas, guest services initiatives, and special event experiences. Represent the organization professionally while helping create a welcoming and memorable environment for every guest. Events & Community EngagementAssist with planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of community appearances, promotional events, youth hockey initiatives, and sponsor events. Serve as a professional ambassador of the Savannah Ghost Pirates throughout the community. Assist with mascot appearances when needed. Commit to assisting with a minimum of five community events per month based on the team's event schedule. Office & Administrative ExperienceComplete weekly office hours while gaining experience across multiple business departments including Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, Community Relations, Event Operations, and Business Administration. Assist with CRM updates, administrative projects, activation tracking, and departmental initiatives. Support additional organizational needs and special projects as assigned. Day-to-day leadership and mentoring of this position will be provided by the Director, Sales and Service. Revenue Generation Associates will receive the tools, programs, and systems necessary to "BE GREAT." WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH · Perform outbound calls and service inbound calls for all ticketed sports. Job Summary The Director of Partnership Sales works closely with the department Vice Presidents, SVP's, and entire AEG Global Partnerships structure/resources to generate and close sponsorship sales for assigned properties and/or regions. The Director of Sponsorship Sales will effectively manage their sales team to set sales goals and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual goals are met by employing various sales techniques, creating and maintaining new business relationships, and setting expectations for their employees. Essential Functions Sell complex sponsorship assets that include media, experiential, and VIP hospitality packages to assigned event properties and locations. Identify and cultivates brands/marketing executives within targeted accounts who make event marketing and media decisions. Create and develops presentations for clients and potential clients. This includes developing creative concepts for pitches, utilizing various resources for execution. Occasionally management of a budget related to sales materials. Address clients’ concerns, questions and objections to close sponsorship deals. Resolve deal discrepancies, works with legal team to draft deal terms. Negotiate and re-negotiates sponsorship assets/deal points for renewal and long-standing sponsorship deals.
