Job Summary The Director of Partnership Sales works closely with the department Vice Presidents, SVP's, and entire AEG Global Partnerships structure/resources to generate and close sponsorship sales for assigned properties and/or regions. The Director of Sponsorship Sales will effectively manage their sales team to set sales goals and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual goals are met by employing various sales techniques, creating and maintaining new business relationships, and setting expectations for their employees. Essential Functions Sell complex sponsorship assets that include media, experiential, and VIP hospitality packages to assigned event properties and locations. Identify and cultivates brands/marketing executives within targeted accounts who make event marketing and media decisions. Create and develops presentations for clients and potential clients. This includes developing creative concepts for pitches, utilizing various resources for execution. Occasionally management of a budget related to sales materials. Address clients’ concerns, questions and objections to close sponsorship deals. Resolve deal discrepancies, works with legal team to draft deal terms. Negotiate and re-negotiates sponsorship assets/deal points for renewal and long-standing sponsorship deals. Keep sales management apprised of progress toward established revenue goals and of the progress in closing identified prospects. Uses department CRM system. This position will directly report to the Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing and work on projects related to email marketing, database growth, and more, while also supporting the entire marketing staff on all department initiatives. In addition, this intern will have a crucial role in game night staffing for theme nights, giveaways, and ticket package redemption. Please note that this internship will run from late August through mid-December, with potential to extend through the spring, and requires the availability to work 30-40 hours per week. We are looking for college juniors, seniors, or grad students.Job DescriptionFLYERS: Write copy for marketing emails and newsletters including Kids Club, Season Ticket Members, and Group SalesCreate and edit email marketing templates for upcoming home gamesCompile and write marketing sweepstakes recaps and present findings to the marketing teamAssist with theme night and promotional giveaway planningStaff Flyers home games to manage ticket package redemption, theme nights, and promotional giveawaysManage inventory of autographed items and promotional itemsBuild and manage data collection forms for Flyers Sales, Charities, Service, Community Relations, and Corporate Partnerships using EloquaAssist with promotion of Student Rush and Military ticket discount programs, including building marketing strategy and identifying areas of opportunityAssist with execution of college ambassador programAssist with grassroots marketing initiatives including outreach, on-site event set-up, and ticket giveawaysWork with digital content team to assist in creation of web interstitials and digital adsXFINITY MOBILE ARENA: Create artist profiles including background, history, discography, fun facts, show notes, and more for upcoming XMA events.
