OverviewWe are seeking a Café & Starbucks Manager to oversee the daily operation of two of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art's highest-volume food & beverage outlets: our licensed Starbucks and our signature café marketplace. This leader will ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, financial performance, and team development while maintaining the elevated hospitality standards expected throughout the museum. The primary focus of this role is leading a fast-paced Starbucks operation while also managing the adjacent café, partnering closely with culinary, museum operations, and senior food & beverage leadership to deliver seamless daily service. This role pays an annual salary of $70,000 - $75,000. We are seeking a unique Part-Time Operations Staff person to join our Operations team. Under general supervision, performs work as needed to clean, maintain, setup/teardown equipment and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Also, ensure all clients’ requirements are met and facility rules, regulations and policies are adhered to.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following:Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events. Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable airwalls, stage barricades, staging, bike racks, turnstiles, tables, other furnishings and equipment.Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. OverviewThe Event Manager will manage every aspect of their assigned events from the advance planning stages through the end of the event; hire, train, schedule, and supervise all event staff; and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly. This position will remain open until October 2, 2026ResponsibilitiesAdvance, plan, service, supervise, and manage all assigned events. Serve as the primary point of contact for all client and internal needs associated with assigned events. Coordinate communication between venue staff, event staff, contractors, vendors, and clients throughout event planning, load-in, event operations, and load-out. Prepare and distribute event documentation, including event estimates, data sheets, settlements, invoices, and post-event documentation in accordance with organizational standards. Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other non-traditional hours. Investigate and resolve client and guest concerns in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, municipal agencies, staff, and patrons. Ensure event services are delivered with exceptional attention to detail, hospitality, and professionalism. Complete all event documentation accurately and on schedule. Analyze operational challenges, recommend solutions, and implement improvements that support organizational objectives. Assist in preparing the facility to meet the requirements of upcoming events.
