The Account Executive will report to the Director of Sales and sell season corporate partnerships, groups, tickets, and hospitality. Position Overview: The Account Executive will prospect and develop relationships that result in the purchase of partnerships, season tickets, groups, and suites. The Account Executive will make certain that all event sales and service activities, strictly adhere to the Trash Pandas’ high standards of customer service including, but not limited to, in-depth customer communication, first-class product presentation, timely fulfillment, and customer deference. The Account Executive is required to adhere to the mission and values of BallCorps, LLC and the Rocket City Trash Pandas Baseball Club. Responsibilities: Generates revenue through selling partnerships, season tickets, mini-plans, nightly hospitality, and suites. Executes 40+ sales calls per day. Develops new leads through cold calling, networking events, utilization of Salesforce CRM, and referrals from current customers. Prospects and qualifies all potential sales opportunities in addition to the leads provided. Provides accurate updates on prospecting activity, sales performance, outside appointments, and account management. Provides superior customer service to clients and prospects. Contributes positively to the front office by developing strong working relationships within the office. Ensures events and experiences sold are executed by working the events as they take place. Join us!THE ROLEThe Regional Accounting Director, Managed Venues Division will be responsible for supporting and overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial reporting activities at the venues they support by performing the following duties. The role is the strategic Accounting and Finance business partner to the Vice Presidents of Operations and provides leadership, functional guidance and valuable insights to leadership teams across venues. This role serves as an interdependent part of the core business unit leadership team within the business unit or region and serves as functional leader for venue based DOFs. As a business partner to VPs of Operations, this role provides business/financial perspective to help make optimal business decisions, uses financial skills and diverse sources of information identify profitable opportunities, anticipate challenges, and creates competitive advantages and drive performance. Role has responsibility on accounting oversights of supporting venues and balance sheet review/reconciliation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccounting and Financial Reporting oversight: Has a fiduciary responsibility of the overall accounting within the region. Establish a timely review schedule of P&L and balance sheet reviews to ensure proper accounting guidelines are being followed in conjunction with US GAAP, Legends Global policies and procedures and Client requirements. This role should complete Balance Sheet review of his/her venues at least twice a year and manage any remediation/action plan thereafter post review and report out to VP Finance. Additionally, role is responsible with ensuring venue compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, tax filings and Legends Global Policies and Procedures.Business Partnering and Business Unit Performance: Creation and embracing the culture of business partnering by working with the division Vice Presidents of Operations, the Regional DOF and Venue DOFs within the business unit/region, together with the RVPs are jointly responsible for achieving optimal operating performance without losing sight of all measured KPI’s. Review financial performance of each venue within the region, analysis of variances, trends, forecasts, and budgets. Challenge existing strategies and/or recommend alternate strategies to continually improve effectiveness of the business or financial management. Highlight potential operating opportunities and weaknesses with VP Finance and VP of Operations. Additional duties as assigned shall include business development and contract renewal analyses.Functional leadership: As the Accounting functional leader of the region, own the process of sourcing, hiring, and training talent across the venues by partnering with venue GMs and relevant HR business partners. Constantly identify high potential talent for future movements. Engage in succession planning discussions with VP Finance and VPs of Operations. Plan and coordinate coverage at venues (vacancies or new venue openings).Taskforce Support: Assist with the finance operations of venues that the role supports as necessary as circumstances arise.Finance Transformation Support: Assist the venues in implementation of finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations as necessary. Serve as change agent and champion the usage of such systems, and partner with various corporate personnel to maximize system efficiencies.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesRole will include oversight of approximately 20 venues, managing the Directors of Finance at the individual venues. Person will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Additional support from 3-4 Sr. Directors of Finance to help manage the business performance and accounting oversight of the venues will be coordinated by this role. The Sr. Directors of Finance work under the direction and management of the VP Finance and Regional Director of Finance.Education and/or Experience B.S. in Accounting from a four-year college or university7-10+ years experience in public accounting and/or financial managementSupervisory level or team management experience requiredAccounting experience in venue management industry is preferredQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
