The role entails coordinating with all relevant parties the planning, implementation, readiness and operations of all Event Technology services pertinent to the tournament and / or associated events within Brazil. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible to ensure all aspects of Technology, Telecommunications and Broadcast Technology Services are implemented in accordance with the pre-agreed FIFA Technology requirements at the assigned venue(s) Manage a strong diverse Venue Technology team composed of paid staff, contractors and volunteers for operating the technology services at the assigned venue(s) Collaborate with stakeholders’ groups, clients, providers, and government entities in relation to ensuring the delivery of technology services across all venues, in accordance with the defined governance structure Manage and contribute to the venue technology working groups in accordance with the agreed governance structure across all aspects of the tournament programme (planning, implementation, readiness and operations) Manage the technology demand / needs requirements for technology services across the tournament space (Technology Equipment Allocation Process) Plan the delivery of suitable end user technology equipment and services to all FWWC 2027 departments and FIFA constituent groups, including hardware, services and consumables Facilitate the collection and distribution of technology requirements of all client groups involved in the FWWC 2027 across all client groups, including, Media, Broadcast, Commercial, Football Technology etc. Ensure that all information pertaining to infrastructure, services and spaces needed for the delivery and support of all technology services are communicated to, and understood by, venue/site authorities and respective delivery teams Provide guidance and direction to relevant teams on matters relating to the structural build-out and technology services implementation, including the commissioning and final decommissioning of tournament venues In collaboration with assigned personnel and Stadium partners, relevant parties (private and governmental) enable / support the timely delivery of venue technology services. Identify and report on the progress of all critical dependencies in accordance with the reporting methodologies Manage the asset tracking and management of deployed technology equipment Track the progress of structural build-out and IT implementation leading up to the timely availability of components and services and including the commissioning and final decommissioning of the venues Develop regular progress, risk and issue management reports in accordance with the governance structure / reporting methodologies and, or PMO systems Follow-up with various stakeholders, providers, and government entities in relation to ensuring delivery of technology services / dependencies as per agreed requirements, service levels etc. Support and ensure the team adhere to the IT Service management protocols Ensure positive attitude from the Venue Technology teams and good relationship with all the parties, including FIFA teams, Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS) areas/projects, end-users, suppliers, Host Country/ City counterparts Manage the on-site IT Technicians and support teams during tournament time operations, including end-of-day reporting and incident escalation to Technology Command Centre. YOUR PROFILEEducationUniversity degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fieldExperience Minimum of 8 years overall IT experience and minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role Experience in the Sports / major event industry is a must Proven track record of successful delivery of complex IT programs and projects Skills & Competencies Manager with proven track record in similar projects Good knowledge of venue technology services across major sporting events Have up to date knowledge and project management expertise in all event related technologies, including, all types of technology business solutions, community access TV (CATV), radio communications, wired communication, printing, broadcast contribution network, spectrum, audio and visual. Assist in managing a robust VAPP database system to ensure accurate data capture and use throughout the lifecycle of FIFA26. Manage stadium parking numbers to align parking capacity with the correct number of VAPPs allocated and distributed to constituent groups. Mange Match Day operations and distribution of VAPP PDAs (scanners) ensuring they are collected and charged for the next match day. Manage on site VAPP PDA setup, configuration and troubleshooting Manage VAPP boards related to car park operations. Ensure compliance with VAPP Policies and Procedures Support the management of a centralized application and distribution process for Printed VAPPs. Help manage VAPP help desk to address staff and stakeholder queries and requests during the tournament. Implement an issue resolution process to address VAPP-related challenges efficiently. Compile daily VAPP scanning reports Your ProfileEducation & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Project management, Event Management, Major Sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position. Work Experience 1-2 years’ work experience: ideally within the football, sport, or event industry. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from support staff, managers, and clients. Experience working in multi-functional event organizations and in dynamic and fast paced environments. Must be motivated, capable of working independently, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Willingness to learn transit operations involved in moving Client Groups. Languages Fluent in English.
