KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Implementation Phase Assist with the implementation of the FIFA budgeting and reporting tools and organize hands-on training with the budget owners in Brazil. Prepare cash flow forecast requirements in connection with the Brazilian operational budget. Planning & Operational Phase Support in Brazil the financial planning and budget review processes working closely with the FIFA Senior Event Controller (based in Zurich) and with all budget owners (Zurich and Brazil based). Work closely with the FIFA27 Senior Event Controller, to implement FIFA Finance processes in Brazil and to support a smooth consolidation of the full tournament operational budgets. Assist the Presentation of the quarterly forecast exercise as well as recommended corrective actions (when necessary) to the various stakeholders. Support the accrual process at year-end supporting the FIFA Zurich and FIFA27 Accounting teams and the various budget owners. Assist the review of monthly cost allocations to various project codes and prepare re-allocation journals when required. Support the preparation monthly management reports providing insightful commentary for budget owners and senior management. Monitor and maintain monthly cash flow forecasts, reflecting the Brazilian operational budget, to ensure the liquidity needs of FIFA27 are met. Perform ad-hoc analysis and prepare additional financial reports as requested by the Head of Finance and senior management. YOUR PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis. Experience with budgeting and reporting tools. Experience in preparing financial statements, preferably in a multi-entity environment. Experience in an international environment. Experience in procurement of advantage. SAP experience preferred. Well-developed organisational skills with an ability to prioritize your workload and meet strict deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate business partnering. Have a proactive hands-on approach to problem solving - a 'can do' attitude. Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy.
