Position SummaryCharlotte 49ers Ventures is seeking an ambitious, outbound sales professional to join its Revenue Development team. The Account Executive is responsible for creating new relationships that grow the Charlotte Athletics fan base while generating revenue through consultative sales and business development.Reporting to the Sr Director, Revenue Development, this position serves as the front line of Charlotte 49ers Ventures' commercial organization. Through high-volume outbound prospecting, market research, networking, and relationship building, the Account Executive identifies and develops prospective group experience, season ticket members, premium seating customers, annual fund donors, and corporate partnership opportunities.Success in this role requires curiosity, resilience, and a consultative mindset. Every interaction is an opportunity to connect individuals and organizations with the Charlotte Athletics experience while contributing to the long-term growth of Charlotte 49ers Ventures.Essential ResponsibilitiesFan & Business DevelopmentExecute high-volume outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, text messaging, LinkedIn, networking, and community outreach. Identify and cultivate prospective season ticket members, premium seating customers, donors, and corporate partners. Research businesses, alumni, community organizations, and prospective supporters to develop qualified sales opportunities. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective customers through proactive outreach and relationship development. Consistently meet activity benchmarks and revenue goals. Ticket SalesGenerate new revenue through season tickets, mini plans, group experiences, and premium hospitality products. Conduct consultative sales conversations focused on understanding customer needs and recommending the best Charlotte Athletics experience. Support retention and upgrade initiatives while emphasizing new business growth. Revenue Pipeline DevelopmentIdentify prospective annual fund donors and refer qualified opportunities to the Athletics Development team. Generate qualified corporate partnership leads for the Partnerships team. Identify premium seating opportunities and coordinate introductions for major sales opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity, and customer interactions. CollaborationWork collaboratively with Revenue Development, Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, Development, and Fan Engagement. Support game-day sales initiatives, hospitality events, community appearances, and special events. Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development. QualificationsBachelor's degree required. 1–2 years of experience in ticket sales, business development, sponsorship sales, fundraising, hospitality, or a related sales environment. Demonstrated success in prospecting and relationship development. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience using CRM systems preferred.
